FALL QUARTERLY REPORT CARD COMING IN 4 WEEKS

The Fall 2009 Quarterly report card is coming in 4 weeks! Be sure to check in to see if Barb Johnson has improved in doing her job as Erie County Clerk of Courts, or is it still the same ole' same ole'.

Be sure to check the side bar under "Quarterly Report Cards" for the Winter 2009, Spring 2009, and Summer 2009 Quarterly Report Cards to compare and see if Johnson is improving in her duties and work ethics to us the tax payers (her employers), or if she continues to go down in a flaming ball of fire!

What will the Fall Quarterly Report Card bring? And yes, we continue to keep a "watchful eye" on her work even though we (for now) are not publishing weekly articles. Is it the same "Nothingness" or is she improving?

Stay tuned!

  1. I know someone who interviewed for the position of title supervisor! She was informed that the decision would be made by the Wed before Thanksgiving. Barb told her that during the interview, she "knocked her socks off" which according to the interviewee would not be difficult, the most silly interview she has ever had. NOO normal interview questions were asked. The interviewee asked a questions during the interview-"You have been in this position since 1988, what do you contribute your success to and if selected for the position, what advice could you give to me for success?"...The answer....wait for it..."I DON'T KNOW" Wow!!
The interviewee waited until today and still had not heard anything. She called and gave Barb a fake name (Denise) and asked for the status of the position. You all will be pleased to know that "Denise" was going to be called for an interview during the weekend, and she was just looking at her application!" This made up person was offered a time to interview. No kidding. "Denise" told Barb that 2 weeks ago that she was informed that the position would need to be filled by Thanksgiving, to which Barb replied " I have been so busy I have not had the time to interview anyone yet."
The person that had the interview probably only got the interview because she had repeatedly called Barb to inquire about the posistion.
I am all for promoting within. However, lets get it done and get someone hired for a clerk position right? People out there are losing their homes, going to bed hungry and someone has the authority and the ok (she told the interviewee) to hire for 4 positions. She stated once she hires the the supervisor she would be able to start hiring for the others. Is this right? Is this fair? I hope someone gets the position, quickly, however, good luck with it. My friend states she wants the job (any job) but doesn't know if it would be worth taking. Has anyone else interviewed?
