A new website for the area has been started. This site will be of real interest to those living in the city of Huron. The purpose of this site is (as quoted from their site):
"The November 2009 Election will provide Huron Voters with an opportunity to elect 5 of 7 Councilmembers. The purpose of this blog is to generate interest in this election, encourage a wide selection of candidates, and provide a forum for discussion of this important election."

So far, that makes 3 web sites that deal with local issues in this area (Firelands 411is also in the sidebar). This is great because it will be a resource for people to read and which then will allow them to make a well thought out and educated vote come election time.
